CPIM program content
The CPIM course covers a broad range of topics to equip graduates and new professionals, with the skills and tools necessary to effectively manage the first stages of supply chain. This enables them to make operation planning, resource management and production more effective.CPIM - Part 1
Explore the basic concepts within managing the flow associated with materials in a source chain. Inside the Basics, an individual gets a complete overview of material flow, from internal and external suppliers to and from your corporation.
CPIM - Part 2
This module focuses on exploring the relationship between existing and emerging processes and technologies to manufacturing strategy and supply chain functions. These include: aligning resources, configuring and integrating processes to support the strategic plan at hand and implement change.
Explore and apply sales and operations planning (S&OP), master scheduling and distribution planning according to the conditions. This course focuses on producing achievable master schedules that can meet mid to long term independent demand.
We explore the various techniques for material and capacity scheduling such as material requirements planning (MRP), Theory of Constraints (TOC) and lean projects. We apply and understand each of the techniques in how we can use them in the real-world.
We explore and apply the various techniques required to mediate actionable plans into operational activities.

CPIM Part 1 Exam
The CPIM Part 1 exam – is 3.5 hours long and consists of 150 multiple-choice questions.
CPIM Part 2 Exam
The CPIM Part 2 exams – is 3.5 hours long and also consists of 150 multiple-choice questions.
Exams are undertaken at an authorised Pearson Vue testing centre.
